General terms

Referral & partner program terms

Draft for beta — professional legal review is required before rollout. These terms describe the intended program and supplement the FamilyOps terms. Programs are available only when explicitly enabled.

Customer invitations

A verified family owner can invite another parent. Signup alone does not earn a reward. The new, different account must become the owner of a family with an eligible paid FamilyOps subscription. After the first qualifying payment and a 30-day safety period without refund or chargeback, both receive one-time, non-cash subscription credit.

Monthly plans receive credit equal to one normal configured month of the eligible plan. Annual plans receive a rounded one-twelfth of the normal annual price as equivalent billing credit, applied to a future invoice. It does not extend the subscription term or permanently discount the plan. Credit is non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn and cannot create a cash payout. An inactive beneficiary waits until an eligible paid subscription is active.

Attribution

Links have a 30-day attribution window before signup. The last eligible approved partner visit takes priority over a customer invitation. Otherwise a customer invitation applies. Attribution is fixed after signup and is not silently reassigned. One conversion cannot earn both customer rewards and affiliate commission. Existing accounts and historical payments are not retroactively attributed.

Partner eligibility and commission

Partner applications require manual approval. Approved partners earn 25% of eligible actual subscription revenue for the first 12 qualifying paid month equivalents of each attributed customer. One annual payment uses twelve months; mixed monthly/annual payments are capped to the months remaining. Revenue excludes taxes, free periods, trials, failed payments, discounts, credit-funded amounts and reversed payments. Rounding uses the currency’s minor unit. A suspended or rejected partner cannot create new eligible attribution.

Refunds, disputes and correction

Refunds or chargebacks before reward application cancel pending customer credit. Credit already applied is flagged for manual reconciliation rather than creating an unexpected debit. Partner refunds reduce commission proportionately; chargebacks reverse it. Historical paid commission remains recorded, with explicit negative adjustments and a reconciliation hold on later payouts. Existing eligible customer attribution remains fixed when new partner links are suspended; disputes won later require manual review rather than automatic reinstatement.

Manual payouts and taxes

Available commissions are reviewed after the 30-day safety period. No minimum payout threshold is introduced for this beta. Payout timing and arrangements are agreed with approved partners; payouts are not automatic. Partners are responsible for their applicable tax reporting. FamilyOps may request necessary payout details separately when arranging a payment; this application does not collect identity documents.

Fair use

No self-referrals, circular referrals, impersonation, spam, deceptive claims, unauthorized paid bidding on the FamilyOps brand or misuse of family data. Disclose your commercial relationship when applicable. FamilyOps may hold suspicious rewards for review or suspend abuse; weak signals alone do not automatically ban an account.

Privacy and supported payments

Partner dashboards show acquisition statistics and anonymous customer labels, never family messages, child details, customer email or private family payments. The initial beta supports normal automatically collected, known-price subscriptions; unusual payment combinations may require manual review and will not be guessed.
